Description

Enlig regler för  CE standarder  bör vinschar med kapacitet på mera än 1000 kg utrustas med gränsläges brytare:

Principles CE requirements:

1. Any motion which has a designed restriction of movement shall be provided with motion limiters. The inner and outer limit of a lifting winch are normally limited with a spindle limit switch with 2 contacts.  
2. Moving or turning transmissions and parts shall be designed, positioned or guarded in order  to protect against the risks associated with possible contact of exposed persons during the intended use. (when located in an easily accessible position)    
3. Winches for lifting, lowering and pulling purposes with a rated capacity of 1.000kg or more shall be fitted with a rated capacity limiter.

The rotary limit switch is used to control the movement of industrial machinery. It operates as an
auxiliary controller of electrical motors through a power interface, such as a contactor or PLC. Suitable for
heavy duty, its shaft is connected to the motor and, after a set number of revolutions, the cams operate the
switches, thus starting the predetermined movement. A worm gear and a helical toothed gear combined with
one or more pairs of straight toothed gears are used for the transmission of the movement from the input
shaft to the output shaft.
